This is called your Basal Metabolic Rate. For every calorie you consume above your Basal Metabolic Rate your body will store it as fat. For every calorie you are below your Basal Metabolic Rate you will lose weight.

To lose 1lb of body fat you need to create a deficit of 3500 calories. That’s the equivalent of walking 150 miles, running nearly two marathons or doing over ten of our work out videos.

We recommend that the healthiest way to lose fat and keep it off is to target to lose 2lb per week. This way you are likely to burn fat not muscle.
